About Me

My name is Greg Jackson. My parents are missionaries, and so I spent a lot of time in other countries when I was younger. Specifically, I spend much of my early childhood in Chile. Between then and high school, my family moved around a bit and finally settles in Chicago. I went to high school at an amazing private college preperatory school called Wheaton Academy. WA was one of the two most significant experiences in my life, likely the more important of the two. I made amazing friends and had amazing teachers to mentor me and to help me become who I am today. I am currently a senior at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, IN. I am majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Economics and Japanese, and am a proud member of the Pi Kappa Alpha social Fraternity. Being a member of this Fraternity has been the other significant experience in my life. WA taught me all about who I am mentally and spiritually. Pike has taught me who I am emotionally and as an individual. For the first two summers of colelge, I was an intern at Scott A Jones Enterprises (SAJE), a Research & Development company based in Carmel, IN. This summer, I’m an intern for Microsoft in Redmond, WA, and if I get a full-time offer from them, I plan on working there after I graduate.

My faith is extremely important to me, as you can imagine it would be to the son of missionaries and to someone who has gone to an incredible Christian high school like Wheaton Academy.

I wear many hats in my life. I am a student, a poet, a philosopher, and artist, a cook, a computer programmer, a gamer, an outdoorsman, and so much more. I am also a runner and a cylcist (road cycling), although it has been a while since I have done either, which is a bit of a shame.

I have never been sunburnt, gotten poison ivy, or been lost driving a car.
