Yeah it was a bit random that I found this but I'm glad I did. I'll definitely check out your weekly challenges; should be interesting :)

I'm actually going to Toronto to present at a research conference so I'm hoping that we'll have a bit more than a hotel, gas station, and convenience store. Either way, it'll be a nice break from Naperville since I, unlike you, have only left for short periods of time since starting college. Anyway, have a great time on your trips and definitely get in touch when you get back. Like I said, I'd love to hear from you.

I'm not sure when I'll be back in Chicago. I haven't really taken more than short visits there since I left for college, since I'm going to school in Terre Haute and working in Indianapolis, but when I do go back to Chicago, I'll let you know.

It's funny you mention Canada, because I'm actually there right now, flew in to Halifax, NS last night. Right now I'm out on the west coast of Cape Breton Island in a tiny little town that has the hotel we're staying at, a gas station, a convenience store, and not much else. I was just commenting how it's a little like being in Europe except everyone speaks in a bit more of a familiar accent and you can use your normal power cords without having to use a converter.

I'm glad you found this website, I was really taking a shot in the dark when I put it up, but it looks like it's worked so far. I'll see if I can get back in touch with you when I get back from my trip to Texas (which is after I return from my trip to Canada), around the end of July. Just make sure you stick around here at least for my weekly challenges, it's probably the best way to keep in touch with me at the moment.

Greg Jackson! How the heck have you been doing? I feel like I haven't seen or heard from you in forever! What have you been up to lately? Are you around Chicago at all this summer? If so, you should come find me so we can catch up. I was actually just thinking about you a couple weeks ago when I was buying a plane ticket to Canada. Give me a call or send me an email if you've got the time. I miss having you around!
